SSMS Terms of Use
Effective 1 August 2026.
Free personal project
SSMS and Tracker Pro are independent personal learning projects shared free of charge. SSMS has no paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, advertising, paid membership, trial fees, hardware sales, or professional-service sales. Guests can use the local GPS Logger and export their records. A signed-in Personal Member receives advanced mapping and private cloud features immediately; optional shared collaboration is administered separately.
Accounts and access
SSMS supports Guest, Personal Member, Member, Controlled Member, and Super Admin access. Guest GPS Logger records remain local. Signing in creates a Personal Member workspace for the account owner’s private mapping and cloud data. Member and Controlled Member access are administrator-managed shared-workspace roles. A Controlled Member has the same mapping access as a Member, but exports are enabled only by a Super Admin. Keep your account secure and do not access another person’s data, disrupt the service, reverse engineer protected services, or publish unlawful, unsafe, or confidential content.
Responsible use
SSMS is a general GPS mapping and operational-recording tool. You are responsible for using it lawfully, obtaining permission to collect location or infrastructure information, and checking records before relying on them.
Location and field safety
GPS, map, BLE, and correction data can be delayed or inaccurate. SSMS is not a surveying, navigation-safety, emergency, or life-safety system. Follow site procedures and independently verify safety-critical positions.
